The Overtures are the UK’s finest Sixties tribute act. Formed in 1989, they are firm favourites on the private party and corporate event circuit, performing for the likes of Sir Paul McCartney at his after-show party in December 2009 at Matter nightclub at The O2 Arena, Elvis Costello and Diane Krall, Chris Difford of Squeeze, Kenney Jones (ex of The Who and The Small Faces), the annual Liverpool Beatles Convention, the Cavern Club and many, many others too confidential to mention.
Raised in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains of South Carolina, Sam Burchfield was brought up on Appalachian music: folk, gospel, country and southern soul. The young songwriter draws on these roots with a deep lyrical honesty and carries the tradition of folk music forward.

The Orchestra (motto: ‘more is more’) brings together 40+ musicians, professional and amateur, to create a kaleidoscopic symphonic brigade. Live shows can include more than 80 performers.They began life as an Ennio Morricone covers band and have since developed full sets of David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Jimi Hendrix, and most recently, Radiohead.
